Hoje estou muito contente porque o meu marido finalmente comecou a reformar o nosso jardim dos fundos. Vamos fazer um novo terraço. É muita bagunça, sujeira, areia para todo lado, mas se Deus quiser logo, logo estará pronto. O irmao dele veio ajudar. Tenho estado muito ocupada. Este é só para lhes desejar um bom domingo e uma boa semana.

Finaly, my husband started working in our backyard. We are reforming our
terrace. It's a big mass. There are sand everywhere. As soon as our Lord allows us it will be ready. His brother came to help him today. I've been very busy.This is more to wish you a very nice sunday and a good week.

PERDÃO/ FORGIVENESS March 6th, 2005

Colossenses 3:13-14 Suportem-se uns aos outros e se perdoem mutuamente, sempre que tiverem queixa contra alguém. Cada um perdoe o outro, do mesmo modo que o Senhor perdoou voces. E acima de tudo, vistam-se com o amor, que é o laço da perfeição.

Hoje encontrei este bonito e muito significativo poema. Espero que voces também gostem.

PERDÃO

Perdoar é deixar partir a dor
e aceitar o que aconteceu,
porque nada vai mudar.

Perdoar é deixar partir a culpa.
Escolhas foram feitas que magoaram;
Cada um de nós poderia ter escolhido
diferente, mas não fizemos.

Perdoar é olhar para a dor,
aprender as lições que ela
produziu, e entender
o que ela nos ensinou.

Perdoar nos permite continuar em frente
para uma melhor compreensão
do amor universal e
o seu propósito.

Perdoar é saber que o amor
é a resposta para todas as perguntas,
e que todos nós estamos
de alguma forma conectados.

FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness is letting go
of the pain
and accepting what has happened,
because it will not change.

Forgiveness is dismissing
the blame.

Fim de semana +.../Weekend +... March, 04 2005

João 5:24 Eu garanto a voçes: quem ouve a minha palavra e acredita naquele que me enviou, possui a vida eterna. Não será condenado, porque já passou da morte para a vida.


Tivemos um fim de semana maravilhoso.O sol brilhou todos os dias. Andamos de pedalinho no lago, nadamos, fizemos caminhadas, praticamos esporte...comemos todos os dias num restaurante com buffet contínuo.Pela primeira vez em quase dezesseis anos de casamento, pude sentar num terraço ao sol, só eu e meu marido (levamos uma pessoa para cuidar das crianças). Gostaria de ter podido ficar mais.

Estávamos mesmo precisando disso, pois tivemos uma semana muito pesada com o falecimento de um amigo, irmão em Cristo muito querido. Hoje a tarde, tenho que ir ao sepultamento dele. Ele faleceu na terça-feira(29/03), mas vai ser sepultado hoje. Aqui na Holanda, eles sepultam ou cremam só depois de alguns dias. Isto para que haja tempo de preparar tudo, enviar os avisos e tambem para que todos que desejam estar presentes possam comparecer. Estava em dúvidas se colocaria isto aqui, mas como a vida não é só alegrias e ...

- Morrer é nascer para a vida eterna!

- É apagar a vela porque a aurora despertou.

ENGLISH VERSION

John 24:5 I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

We had a wonderful weekend. The sun has shined every day. We've cycled a canal bike on the lake, we've swum in the several sub-tropical swimming pools, we've went for a nice walk in the nature...we've eaten delicious meals in the restaurant. For the first time in almost 16 years of marriage,we(me and my husband) could enjoy sitting in a terrace enjoying the sun and a nice drink, just me and him(we've taken somebody with us to entertain the boys). We had a goed time. All of us.

We were really needing to do that, because we had a hard week. A beloved friend, brother in Christ, has passed away. This afternoon I'm going to his funeral. He passed away on monday(29/04), but his body will be buried today. Here in Holland they only bury or cremate after a few days. They need enough time to organise everything-sending invitations...- giving everyone who wish to be present the opportunity to be there.

I wasn't sure of writing about this here, but life is not only nice things and as somebody said:

- To die is be born to eternaal life;

- Dieing is put out the candle, because the aurora has broken.
